About Us

We are a very popular and highly regarded Pre-School located in our own purpose built unit, next to  Sturry Church of England Primary School.

Our Team

  • We have seven highly trained Staff, and we are managed on a day to day basis by our Senior Management Team of Angela Harvey (Manager) Stephanie Head (Deputy/SENco) Tracey Johnson (Senior Practitioner)  and ultimately by the Management Committee consisting of parents/carers. Officers are elected each year at our AGM (held in March/April and July) 
  • At Sturry Pre-School we recognise that every child is unique, therefore we offer each child a specially tailored curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage to suit their needs. Our fantastic team of Staff are well trained, enthusiatic and are caring and committed to the development and well being of our children. Meet our team by clicking on the heading (Our Team).

The dedicated and inspirational staff support each child to solve problems and lead their own play and learning in our safe and exciting environment. At Sturry Pre-school we aim to encourage every child to achieve their best and prepare them for their life ahead.

Waiting List Application Form


If you would like to add your Child to our waiting list please click on the heading ( in red directly above) which will open a Waiting List Application Form for you to complete and return it to us as soon as possible either by post or E-Mail.  We also have a post box to the right of our gate.  Please note that we require all families to visit our setting before being offered a place. We only offer visits to families once your child has turned two years old and if they are due to start the following September / January.  Please note that we are a very busy setting  and have a long waiting list. We normally allocate sessions for the following academic year in February / March.  Therefore, if you would like to be offered a place, please complete the waiting list form as soon as possible.  

 

Funding

We are able to offer funded early education for eligible two, three and four year old children. This includes Universal funding for 3/4 year olds, Working Parent Entitlement and Early Learning for Two Year Olds, for those eligible.
